The History of Djursland:
The manager tells the story of Djursland. About Viking
revages in the neighborhood. One time Kolindsund was Denmark's
largest lake, and Nimtofte was an important village. The campsite
is hosting a coffee. Participation is free for our guests.
Bonfire party:
We light the bonfire at 8. p.m., and at the Bonfire-Bar, you
can buy sausages, beer, soft drinks and a Danish speciality -
a bread dough which is wound round a stick and baked over the
embers of the fire. A really nice evening for all the family,
where we bake our "stick-bread" and roast sausages
over the embers. Sticks for the bread and the sausages are at
the bonfire site, to be returned after use.
"Futte":
is an electric train that takes you and your family around the
campsite. Departure from the Information space. The trip is free
for our customers.
Nimtofte tour
The manager takes you for a stroll through the town of Nimtofte.
We go past the church and continue on to the old vicarage barn,
which the vicar has turned into an agricultural museum. The agricultural
museum is the smallest in Denmark, however the building itself
is the oldest agricultural building in Denmark. The tour lasts
an hour, a little longer if there is a need for more than one
language. Depart from Information. The tour is free for camp guests.
The Clown:
Magic tricks and clowning around for all the family. The show
takes place at the playground, though in bad weather is moved
to the lounge.
The show is free for our guests.
